In this five hour workshop only available in Jacksonville, Florida, XPT Certified Coach Troy Delaney will provide education and coaching through XPT’s Performance Breathing®, ice + sauna therapy, and land + underwater training, and how you can incorporate them into your training and lifestyle.

XPT, Extreme Performance Training™, created by waterman Laird Hamilton and volleyball legend Gabby Reese, is an innovative and novel fitness lifestyle system dedicated to optimizing health, performance, and longevity. “Extreme performance” means operating at your absolute highest possible potential, in ALL areas of your life.

Challenge yourself with cutting-edge techniques through XPT’s “Breathe/ Move/Recover/Connect” social wellness workshop, designed to stimulate growth in all aspects of human performance through exposure to a variety of natural elements and environments. XPT’s holistic performance approach will push you to become the most versatile and resilient human being possible. We cater to all athletes: from everyday exercisers to the elite.

You’ll experience:

  • Rucking – We’ll carry heavy loads on a beautiful nature trail while we get to know each other. Plus, we’ll get a great low-impact cardio and strength warm-up.
  • Performance Breathing™  As developers of the most comprehensive breathwork guide in existence and creators of the first-ever trademarked breathwork system, you’ll be guided through a comprehensive breathwork session and equip you with tools to tap into its vast power at home.
  • Versatile / Resilient Training – Outdoor workouts that blend both underwater and land exercises focused on low-impact, functional movements that build a durable and resilient body. You’ll learn how to become fit for life, living as robustly as possible and prevent physical and cognitive frailty.
    • Novelty: new environment for most means new growth and progress.
    • Mindset: mental challenges like underwater training can build mental resilience that transcends into other areas of life.
    • Low impact: good for rehabilitation or exercise with less stress to joints/tissues while building durability.
    • Practiced breathing: forced controlled environment like underwater training can improve breathing mechanics and abilities.
    • Recovery: great for recovery of nervous system and muscles while also getting training effect. Plus, water creates a natural compression to help flush waste from tissues in order to improve circulation and faster recovery.
  • Heat & Cold Exposure introduces participants to the use of extreme thermal stress. Through freezing ice baths and hot saunas, we can promote physical and mental recovery from intense training, work or life stress, and high-level competition. We also take advantage of building mental resilience and learning how to mitigate the emotional stress response, which can transcend outside of these recovery sessions and provide useful tools when facing stressful situations in daily life. Gain a deeper appreciation, awareness, and competency to utilize breath as a remote control for better navigating any (and every) experience in your life. Learn effective protocols, proper breathing techniques, and safety for cold water immersion and sauna use. Then perform multiple rounds of ice bathing and sauna. You’ll learn how to implement the practice for various outcomes including boosted energy, focus, and mood; more impactful recovery; increased resilience to stress; and more.
